Built on Experience. Focused on Doing Things Right.

Precision Air Conditioning of Florida, LLC is a locally owned HVAC company serving residential and commercial customers throughout Southwest Florida. Founded in 2024 by Dustin and Leah, Precision brings together years of HVAC industry knowledge, hands-on field experience, contractor relations, construction and development experience, and business administration.

Our goal is simple: provide knowledgeable service, straightforward recommendations, and quality workmanship while building relationships with customers who know they have an HVAC company they can call when they need us.

From the Ground Up

Dustin’s HVAC career began in 2010, although it wasn’t originally the path he had planned. At the time, he was considering overseas contract work when an opportunity came along to work for an HVAC supply company. He chose the local opportunity and started in the warehouse—a decision that would ultimately shape his career.

What began as a warehouse position quickly grew into something more. Dustin worked his way through the company and into management, eventually spending five years managing the Port Charlotte location. During nearly a decade in HVAC supply, he developed extensive knowledge of HVAC equipment, parts, manufacturers, and the industry as a whole.

Some of his most valuable experience, however, came from the people behind the businesses. Working closely with HVAC contractors throughout Southwest Florida gave Dustin a front-row seat to the growth of many local companies. He worked alongside contractors as their businesses developed, helping them navigate equipment needs, source parts and materials, solve problems, and keep their jobs moving.

That experience allowed him to see firsthand how successful HVAC businesses were built and gave him knowledge that he continues to incorporate into the way Precision operates today.

In 2019, Dustin decided to take that experience into the field. He transitioned into hands-on HVAC work, spending the next several years diagnosing, repairing, servicing, and installing residential and commercial HVAC systems.

That move gave him a perspective few technicians begin with: years of equipment and industry knowledge combined with hands-on field experience and an understanding of the business behind the service.

After gaining the field experience and qualifications required to become a licensed HVAC contractor, Dustin was ready to take everything he had learned and build something of his own.

Precision was built from years of experience on multiple sides of the HVAC industry—from the warehouse and supply counter to management and ultimately into the field.

That experience continues to shape how we approach every system and every customer today.

From the warehouse, to management, to the field, to business ownership—Precision was built from the ground up.

Experience Behind the Business

While Dustin’s career developed within the HVAC industry, Leah brings a background in military service, local government, construction and development, contractor relations, and administration to Precision Air Conditioning of Florida.

Leah served for nearly six years in the United States Air Force Reserve, working in Administration at Homestead Air Reserve Base. Her military experience helped establish a strong foundation in organization, accountability, attention to detail, and professionalism.

She later continued her career in local government, working in administration for DeSoto County before joining Charlotte County Community Development. Leah spent five years with Charlotte County, ultimately serving as a Senior Zoning Technician.

During her time with Community Development, Leah worked professionally with contractors throughout Charlotte County and gained firsthand experience with zoning, development requirements, documentation, permitting processes, and the regulatory side of construction.

Today, she brings that experience to Precision’s operations, helping manage customer communication, scheduling, documentation, permitting coordination, marketing, and business administration.

Her experience working with contractors and local government also provides valuable insight into the administrative side of projects—helping Precision deliver professionalism both in the field and behind the scenes.

Dustin and Leah have been married since 2011, meaning much of their professional growth happened side by side long before Precision Air Conditioning of Florida existed.

While Dustin was building his career within the HVAC industry, Leah was developing hers through military service, local government, construction and development, and contractor relations. Over the years, those two very different career paths created a combination of technical, operational, and industry knowledge that would eventually come together in their own business.

When Precision Air Conditioning of Florida was founded in 2024, it wasn’t simply the beginning of a new HVAC company. It was the next chapter in years of experience they had built independently—and a life they had already spent more than a decade building together.

Dustin brings the technical and industry expertise. Leah brings the administrative, construction, and operational experience. Together, they’re building Precision around a shared standard for how customers should be treated.
